2023 eyes Ajman’s growth in lease contracts value, reaching AED 4 billions, an increase of 39.92%

The Municipality of Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) has unveiled that the value of lease contracts in 2023 reached 4 billion dirhams, an increase of 39.92%, compared to 2022, recording AED 716-million growth, according to the MPDA’s annual report for 2023.

 

His Excellency Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, MPDA’s Director General, asserted that the Emirate strives for sustainability, providing all the elements of happiness and prosperity for its residents. It also maintains its pioneering status in the field of investment, entrepreneurship and diversified projects. Ajman has succeeded in achieving the goals desired so to be at the forefront of cities classified in terms of life quality and community happiness achievement. It is also a destination for visitors, tourists and investors, supportive of young investors by providing various facilities, and drives the launch of projects and ensures their continuity and success, His Excellency noted

 

The total value of lease contracts included the value of residential, commercial and investment contracts, His Excellency added, noting that results embody everyone’s longing to settle in the Emirate of Ajman, which provides all sorts of incentives, facilities and support to residents and investors, for flexible and encouraging legislation and regulations, and the smart transition that has effectively played great part in speeding up completion of transactions.

Ammar Abdul Karim Al Kayed, MPDA’s Director of Lease Regulation Department, said that the ambitious competencies never stop providing the best to customers and toil for harnessing smart technologies and the state-of the-art systems to notarize lease contracts; residential, commercial and investment, and complete transactions within record time, as well as improving the customers’ journey through completion of the integration projects with relevant partners in providing services. 2023 eyed an increase in contract notarization against 2022 and 2021, as the staff completed 87611 residential contract transactions, 33866 commercial contract transactions, and 234 investment contract transactions, Al Kayed added.
