The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) has announced the launch of the Ramadan Festival on Heritage Trail, dubbed “Ramadan in Al Furjan”, as part of its keenness to provide various activities for residents and visitors.
In this regard, Dr. Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al Muhairi, the Executive Director of the Infrastructure Development Sector in the Department, asserted that the MPDA Ddecided to hold the Festival in conjunction with the holy month of Ramadan, which is characterized by its beautiful atmosphere, noting that the Festival is mainly aimed at bringing joy and happiness to its visitors, by providing a myriad of events, entertainment and miscellaneous shows targeting all segments and categories.
The Festival’s organizing committee has chosen the Geritage Trail for holding the Festival to give visitors the opportunity to tour the old Al Furjan and learn about the customs and traditions followed during the holy month, Dr. Eng. Bin Omair said.
Dr. Eng. Bin Omair noted that the Festival is open to visitors from 7:00 PM to 12:00 AM from Mondays to Thursdays, and from 9:00 PM to 12:00 AM from Fridays to Sundays, providing full entertainment services; stalls, restaurants and cafes.
The Festival is on until the third day of Eid Al-Fitr, Dr. Eng. Bin Omair said, calling on residents and visitors to visit the Festival for happy hours.
