The Ajman Municipality Department Organizes the Partners Council to Discuss Activating the Interrelationship in the Building Numbering Project

The Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman planned the Partners Council gathering the strategic, concerned and affected partners, in order to discuss the buildings and units numbering system project and linking data in the Amar system with the partners to support the ratification of lease agreements.

 

Dr. Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al Muhairi, the Executive Director of the Infrastructure Development Sector in the Department, started the Council by emphasising the importance of integration between all parties to ensure the success of projects and their achievement of the desired goals, indicating the important role provided by the partners through the spiralling and harmony of efforts to realize the visions.

 

Engineer Khalifa Abdullah Al Falasi, Director of Buildings Department and Head of the Building Numbering System Project Team, reviewed the project that seeks to number buildings and units and link their data in the AMAR system with partners and lease contracts. He spoke about the Project’s details and challenges of the current situation, the Project’s objective and importance, the Project stakeholders and the general plan of the Project including the main stages of implementing the project and the course of the current and new procedure for building numbering.

 

Al-Falasi indicated that the Department was concerned to develop a unified mechanism for numbering buildings and sub-units within buildings in the Emirate of Ajman, and to establish a building data card, so that the updated system is stable and independent of any external variables of the building, to improve the customer experience and employ smart solutions in developing operations and achieving the desired improvement.

 

The Council opened the door for feedback, discussions and inquiries with the Partners to find out their needs and suggestions with regard to the Project.
