Following the launch of the Ajman Artificial Intelligence (AI) Program by His Highness Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and Chairman of the Executive Council, and in line with the UAE Federal Government’s directions toward implementing self-executing and self-leading AI assistant models, His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman, directed the implementation of 25 qualitative AI initiatives within the Department that directly impact community life, with completion set no later than September 2026.
This came during a meeting held by His Highness with the Department’s team, during which the proposed initiatives and implementation mechanisms were discussed in line with the Ajman Government’s objectives to develop the government work ecosystem and enhance the readiness of government entities for future requirements through the adoption of innovative technologies in services and operational processes.
His Highness emphasized the importance of accelerating the implementation of the proposed initiatives in a manner that positively reflects on the quality of services provided to the community and enhances efficiency, flexibility, and sustainability across various sectors. He also stressed the need to adopt qualitative solutions that contribute to improving customer experience and developing a more integrated and proactive urban and service environment.
His Highness further noted that the Department, across all its sectors, is keen to translate the leadership’s directives into practical projects and initiatives that enhance wellbeing and reinforce the concepts of smart government, ensuring the delivery of more efficient, faster, and more accurate services, while placing people at the forefront of priorities.
The implementation of these initiatives is part a comprehensive vision aimed at building a more advanced work ecosystem capable of keeping pace with future transformations and reinforcing Ajman’s position as a leading model in adopting AI solutions to serve the community.
