The Municipality and Planning Department endeavors to have sustainable partnership relationships based on Integrated interaction, mutual responsibility, and trust and ensures the added value that supports reaching mutual strategic goals, and to accrue mutual benefits to the two parties.

Such relationship is activated through the effective communication channels, memorandums of understanding and agreements targeting the identification of the framework of the relationship and obligations with Partners.

Accordingly, the relationship has been assessed based on approved standards to be developed annually, and aims at the continuous development and enhancement of the performance of the Department with the Partners and its effectiveness.

The Municipality & Planning Department (the “Department”) seeks to establish sustainable partnership relationships that focus on the integrated interaction and mutual responsibility and trust and procure the added value which help achieve the common strategic goals and mutual benefits for the parties, the department is committed to implementing the iso 44001:2017 Business Cooperation Relations standard.

Committed to implementing this Policy, goals have been set to manage and develop the relationship with partners through:

Identifying partners and studying their needs and expectations in order to procures a clear framework that helps achieve partnership goals.
Working together towards the accomplishment of the common initiatives and projects related to the strategic goals.
Ensuring cooperation in the provision and development of common services and operations that guarantee satisfaction of customers and community.
Establishing the partnership framework and limits in a way that achieves the anticipated interests and the mutual benefit and procures an added value for all the parties.
Institutional Equilibrium by bringing all capacities together and sharing institutional experience and knowledge with partners at all levels.
Developing approaches to mitigate the risks associated with the Department and its partners through Institutional Risk Management System.
Strengthening PRM (Partner Relationship Management) thinking and culture.
Providing effective communication channels with partners.

The Higher Leadership adopts this Policy and procures that the requirements common to both the Department and its partners are met and that any legal, legislative, regulatory and other requirements are fulfilled. We are constantly developing and improving our performance with partners and its efficiency through the ongoing system review.
