The department participates as a strategic partner in the “Usrati” package, proactive government program affiliated with the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security. It was developed by the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority in collaboration with various federal and local entities. This first-of-its-kind initiative aims to provide a wide range of family services proactively, supporting sound education and ensuring family needs are met.

Business Facilitation Package
Service Description
The department has adopted the directives of the wise leadership to enhance the emirate’s competitiveness by facilitating the issuance of economic licenses. Believing in its vital role in the emirate, the department has undertaken the development of technical approval procedures for health and environmental permits and integrated them into the Tasdeeq and Raqeeb systems. This ensures instant approvals for economic license requests, subject to terms and conditions, and relies on inspections of technical approvals to commence the activity after obtaining the license from the Department of Economic Development. The customer can now complete all technical approval procedures for the license through the rental contract attestation service only.

Manzali
Service Description
The department is a strategic partner in the “Manzali” package, a comprehensive and specialized package for providing housing services to UAE citizens, affiliated with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure. The package aims to facilitate the citizen’s journey by reducing the application processing time and the number of required documents, based on the principle of one-time data entry. It also provides proactive services in collaboration with various partners.

The Building Compliance Package aims to ensure that all safety standards and building sustainability requirements are met. It includes:
- Ensuring building sustainability and preserving aesthetic appeal
Installing early warning systems and maintaining firefighting systems
Ensuring the provision and efficient operation of surveillance cameras (CCTV)
