Ajman Municipality & Planning Department announced its full readiness for the Holy Month of Ramadan, confirming that it will continue to offer its services during the announced timings, with intensifying inspection campaigns of foodstuff facilities in the Emirate and all points of sale, shopping centers, restaurants, traditional kitchens, foodstuff factories, confectionaries and bakeries, aligning with the trends of Ajman Vision 2030, aiming to create an urban environment that enhances the Emirate’s attractiveness and quality of life, aligning with the Department’s strategic objectives.
The Department confirmed the continuation of supervisory control over foodstuff facilities throughout the Holy Month, in the course of its ongoing care for maintaining consumer health and safety, and ensuring the availability of safe and healthy food for everybody in the Emirate.
Customer Happiness Centers
The Department stated that the customer happiness centers will be open for the public from 9 am to 2:30 pm, Monday to Thursday, and they will continue providing their services via the visual communication channel “Qareeb” and instant chat on Friday, 9 am to 12 pm.
Slaughterhouse Working Timings
The Department confirmed that Ajman Central Slaughterhouse will operate from Monday to Thursday over two shifts, where the morning shift will be from 9 am to 2 pm and the evening shift will be from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm. Work begins on Friday from 9 am to 12 pm, whereas the evening shift will be from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm. Furthermore, the slaughterhouse will continue to operate on Saturday and Sunday from 9 am to 2 pm.
As in relation to Manama Slaughterhouse, the Department noted that it will be open from Saturday to Thursday from 8 am to 1:30 pm, whereas it will operate on Friday from 8 am to 2 pm.
Furthermore, Maqsab Masfout announced its operation timings during the holy month, whereas it will operate from Saturday to Thursday from 9 am to 4 pm, while it will continue working on Friday in two shifts, where the morning shift will be from 9 am to 12 pm and the evening shift will continue from 2 pm to 4 pm.
Parking Operation Timings
The Department noted that the operation timings of paid parking lots during the Holy Month of Ramadan will be in two shifts, where the morning shift will be from 9 am to 1 pm and the evening shift will be from 8 pm to 12 midnight throughout the week except Fridays and public holidays.
Parks Operation Timings
The Department displayed the operation timings of public parks, where they will be open for everybody from 4 pm to 1 am throughout the week.
1500 Illuminating Panels to Decorate Ajman
In the course of its preparations for the Holy Month, the Department decorated the streets, squares and parks with around 1500 illuminating panels in Ajman, Manama and Masfout, to give a spiritual atmosphere that reflects the joy of this occasion. Furthermore, the Department congratulated the residents and visitors on the arrival of the Holy Month of Ramadan, asking Almighty Allah to bring goodness, prosperity and blessings to everybody on this occasion.
