The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman has organized a discussion session with engineering consulting firms operating within the emirate, strategic partners, and representatives from relevant parties, to address the second phase of the “Bait Amer” package. This initiative is part of the Department’s commitment to developing an integrated services ecosystem aimed at facilitating the housing construction process for citizens and improving the wellbeing, in alignment with Ajman Vision 2030 and the strategic goals of the Department in delivering integrated digital services and comprehensive urban management.
The session was attended by His Excellency Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Department, Dr. Eng. Khaled Moeen Al Hosani, Executive Director of the Department’s Public Health and Environment Sector in, and Dr. Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al Muhairi, Executive Director of the Department’s Infrastructure Development Sector, along with representatives from engineering consulting firms and partners from the relevant service agencies.
Delivering Exemplary Services
The session centered on the second phase of the project, outlining the development steps it includes and the key areas targeted to improve service integration, simplify processes, and boost the efficiency of the operational system. It also included an assessment of operational mechanisms and the collaboration between various stakeholders, which are crucial for enhancing the customer experience and accelerating service delivery.
Dr. Eng. Mohammed bin Omair confirmed that this phase is a continuation of the successful first stage of “Bait Amer,” which facilitated the housing construction process and standardized procedures within a cohesive framework, positively impacting the quality of services offered.
Dr. Eng. bin Omair also emphasized that “Bait Amer 2” represents a significant step forward in delivering proactive and integrated government services. This initiative automates the process of generating water and electricity service requests as soon as a building permit is issued, eliminating the need for manual data entry or separate applications.
Development Proposals
During the meeting, a general discussion took place with engineering consulting firms and partners. Various observations, questions, and development proposals were reviewed, promoting an open dialogue. The consulting firms actively participated by sharing their insights and feedback, reinforcing transparency and aligning with the Department’s mission to enhance and streamline procedures. This collaborative effort is designed to improve work quality and foster cooperation, thereby increasing operational efficiency, boosting system preparedness, and ensuring optimal outcomes before the initiative’s official rollout.
The session concluded with recognition for the Department’s progressive efforts in enhancing government services and fostering integration among entities. This dedication contributes to providing residents of the Emirate of Ajman with a unified and innovative customer experience.
