Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi Launches Unified Logo for Ajman Parks During Family Park Opening, Honoring Winners of the Ajman Agriculture Award and Announcing the Residential Gardens Design Initiative

His Excellency Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA), launched the unified logo for Ajman parks, which will be applied to 45 parks across the Emirate during the current year. This took place during the inauguration of “Family Park” and the honoring of 30 winners of the 17th edition of the Ajman Agriculture Award 2026. The event aligns with Ajman Vision 2030, which aims to enhance quality of life and create an attractive urban environment, in line with MPDA’s strategic objective of increasing the per capita share of public and green spaces.

Family Park Opens, Spanning 6,000 Square Meters

During the award ceremony, His Excellency inaugurated “Family Park” in Al Jurf 2 area, coinciding with the Year of the Family, reaffirming MPDA’s commitment to sustainable action to position Ajman among the world’s leading green cities. Efforts are intensified and roles integrated to expand afforestation across all areas of the Emirate, relying on sustainable agriculture and irrigation methods that meet the highest international standards.

His Excellency stated that the park’s opening falls within MPDA’s strategy to expand green areas and provide a natural destination for families and visitors. It is part of the Residential Area Parks Project launched in 2024, through which six parks were completed, with the project continuing until 2028 to deliver six additional parks.

The park extends over 6,000 square meters and features a 300-meter walking track, a children’s play area, parking spaces, and shaded seating areas engineered to ensure proper ventilation and resilience to weather changes. The park utilizes smart irrigation systems based on recycled water, includes solar-powered lighting, and contains a variety of trees and shrubs.

New Identity for Ajman Parks

The new Ajman Parks identity embodies the concept of sustainability and connection with nature. The logo design incorporates plant elements inspired by the local environment, reflecting the Emirate’s aesthetic character.

In this context, His Excellency honored student Alaa Aref Al Humairi from Ajman University, along with faculty members Dr. Sahar Makki and Dr. Mervat Medhat, in recognition of their coordination efforts with the award organizers in developing a creative model for the unified logo, reflecting collaboration with academic institutions in supporting innovation and strengthening the city’s visual identity.
