The Municipality & Planning Department – Ajman announced its full readiness for Holy Eid Al Adha, confirming the continued delivery of its services via smart channels during the holiday period, in the course of its efforts aiming to facilitate procedures, aligning with the trends of Ajman Vision 2030 for the creation of a civilizational environment that enhances the Emirate’s attractiveness and quality of life.
The Department’s Slaughterhouses
The Department confirmed that the slaughterhouses of the Emirates have been fully equipped for receiving sacrifices during the days of Holy Eid Al Adha, along with providing specialized veterinary staff for examination before and after slaughtering according to the highest health standards, ensuring the safety of meats and their clearness of diseases.
The Department stated that the Central Abattoir will receive the members of the public on the Day of Arafah from 7:30 am till 3:00 pm, where work will continue on the first day of Eid, immediately after the prayer of Holy Eid Al Adha till 4:00 pm, while working hours will continue throughout the days of Eid from 7:00 am till 4:00 pm, along with confirming the availability of the trained technical staff and labor and confirming the readiness of the equipment to receive the various types of sacrifices.
The Department noted that Masfout Slaughterhouse will operate in two intervals daily over the period from the day of Arafah until the third day of Holy Eid Al Adha, whereas working hours on the day of Arafah will be from 7:00 am till 1:00 pm for the morning shift, and from 4:00 pm till 7:00 for the evening shift, while the slaughterhouse will operate during the first, second and third days of Eid from 6:00 am till 12:00 noon for the morning shift, and from 4:00 pm till 7:00 for the evening shift.
Whereas Al Manama Slaughterhouse will operate from the day of Arafah until the third day of Eid from 6:30 am till 4:00 pm.
The Department called the members of the society to adhere to slaughtering at official slaughterhouses and to not deal with roaming butchers, confirming that supervision and inspection teams will confiscate the sacrifices that are slaughtered outside the scope of law and will issue violation tickets against violators, with the possibility to report violations on phone number 80070.
Free-of-Charge Parking Lots
The Department announced that paid parking lots will be exempted from fees during the holiday of Holy Eid Al Adha, as of Tuesday, 26 May 2026, until Friday, 29 May 2026, provided that fees will resume as of Saturday, 30 June 2026.
1500 Illuminating Panels Decorating the Emirate
In a related context, the streets, squares and parks of the Emirate have been decorated with around 1500 illuminating panels and felicitation statements, reflecting the atmosphere of joy and happiness of Eid.
Public Parks & Facilities Open to Visitors
The Agriculture & Public Parks Department stated that public parks and facilities will be open during the holiday of Eid to receive visitors from Tuesday to Friday, from 11:00 am till 12:00 midnight.
The Department finally confirmed the continuation of its efforts for providing the best services during the period of Eid, wishing the residents and visitors of the Emirate a blessed Eid Al Adha and a happy holiday that is full of joy and delight.
