H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Chairman of the Municipality & Planning Department – Ajman, received the Platinum Membership of the International Business Union – USA, and the Seal of Commercial Confidence that is awarded to organizations of proven high competence in the quality of financial governance, and compliance with the highest standards of managerial integrity and transparency, and the evaluation of financial statements and performance indicators according to the best practices accredited by COFICERT – France for the MSI 20000 standard, awarded to the Department in recognition of its eventful record of the implementation of the best international practices in financial management, and the development of the apparatus of financial operation, in line with the aspirations of Ajman Government towards enterprise leadership and active governance, aligning with Ajman Vision 2030.
In this regard, His Highness conveyed his pride of the Department’s reception of such international recognition, to become the first governmental authority on the level of Ajman Emirate to be awarded such honor, embodying the approach for the adoption of excellence and ongoing improvement, to enhance customer trust and improve the Emirate’s competitiveness in the various sectors.
Enterprise Sustainability & Leadership
From his side, H.E. Abdul Rahman Al Nuaimi, the Department’s Director-General, appreciated the exerted efforts and the action plans implemented according to the highest global standards in the various sectors, emphasizing that all teams are working intensively and collaboratively to proceed with confident steps towards enterprise sustainability and leadership.
From his side, Dr. Hamdan Mohammed Al Ali, the Deputy Executive Director of the Supporting Services Sector, stated: “This achievement embodies the Sector’s commitment to the implementation of the best practices of governance and financial management, improving the competency of operations, and bolstering integration between the departments, contributing to the attainment of financial sustainability and supporting the Emirate’s trends towards enterprise leadership and excellence.”
From his side, Mr. Abdul Rauf Mohammed Mahmoud, the Director of the Financial Affairs Department, said: “This achievement is a fruit of collective efforts of the work team, and is an additional motivator to proceed in the journey of development and innovation, bolstering the confidence of our strategic partners and supporting Ajman’s position as a hub of excellence in governmental financial performance.”
