MPDA Service Centers Department receives Great Place to Work® international accreditation as Best Workplace

The Service Centers Department at the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) has received the international accreditation certificate from the Great Place to Work®,” recognizing it as the best workplace, significant achievement that reflects the MPDA’s commitment to applying global best practices in fostering a positive, supportive, and motivating work environment for employees. This, in turn, enhances the quality of services provided to customers and aligns with the Ajman Vision 2030, which aims to achieve government leadership through flexibility, innovation, efficiency, and a results-oriented approach.

 

This achievement is part of the MPDA’s strategic direction to enhance institutional excellence, raise the efficiency of its human capital, and achieve its goal of providing a motivating and sustainable work environment that promotes employee satisfaction and raises productivity and service quality.

 

Positive work environment based on trust and empowerment

In this vein, His Excellency Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi, Director General of the MPDA, asserted that this international accreditation is the fruit of the MPDA’s efforts in investing in human capital, noting that providing a work environment based on trust and empowerment is a key pillar for achieving government excellence and enhancing the quality of services provided to the community.

 

For her part, Engineer Noura Rashid Shattaf, Executive Director of the Strategy and Customer Happiness Sector, noted that obtaining the Great Place to Work® certification is the culmination of a systematic development process that was born late 2025, by implementing global standards to measure work culture and employee experience, along with reviewing internal policies and practices, thereby fostering an organizational culture based on trust, appreciation, and empowerment.

 

Team Spirit

In turn, Mr. Marwan Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director of Service Centers, noted that the application of the Great Place to Work® standards included the management of service centers, especially the Customer Happiness Center (City Service Center). The advanced results reflect a high level of job awareness and team spirit, and enhance employees’ sense of pride and belonging.

 

The evaluation results showed high scores by service centers scores across all aspects of workplace culture, with average indicators ranging between 98% and 100%, reflecting a model work environment that supports innovation and institutional sustainability.

 

This accomplishment strengthens the Emirate of Ajman’s position in government excellence, plays great part in raising the level of job satisfaction and institutional stability, and positively impacts customer experience and service quality, thereby serving the community and aligning with the Emirate’s goals in governance, excellence, and sustainability.
