As part of the initiatives led by His Highness the President of the State, and overseen by the Committee for the Implementation of His Highness’s Initiatives, the 3.2 km Al Talla Street development project in the Emirate of Ajman has been inaugurated. The project includes an 800-meter bridge on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Street and the 1,100-meter Al Hamidiyah Bridge on Sheikh Zayed Road in Ajman, along with the opening of two traffic intersections beneath the bridges.
The project forms part of a comprehensive plan aimed at achieving sustainable development and advancing infrastructure while improving the overall efficiency of the road network in Ajman.
Travel Time reduced by 60%
The project aims to reduce travel time to target locations by 60%. It also ensures better connectivity to residential areas that includes as Mohammed bin Zayed City, Al Hamidiyah, and Al Raqaib, as well as access to essential facilities like the under-construction Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Hospital and the Zayed Educational Complex located in Mohammed bin Zayed City.
The project also involves setting up an integrated rainwater drainage system, installing modern traffic lights and road lighting, so as to boost traffic safety, streamline flow, increase road efficiency and reinforce the infrastructure’s capability to meet the growing urban and developmental needs of Emirate of Ajman.
