The Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman welcomed a delegation from the Central Finance Department in Sharjah, whose visit was focused on examining the best practices applied in contracts and procurement, as well as sharing experiences between the two entities to enhance the institutional work system and improve the efficiency of administrative and financial operations.
The visit included a presentation of the approved regulations and laws adopted by the Department, as well as the financial programs and systems used in managing contracts and procurement. The delegation was also briefed on the approved purchasing methods, supplier selection processes, the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, and the mechanism for adopting complaint-handling standards within the specified timeframes.
The meeting featured a presentation on the Department’s efforts to implement the most effective modern practices in purchasing and supplier management, and to develop smart systems that facilitate prompt completion and precision in procedures, thereby improving institutional performance and aligning with the Ajman government’s objectives of achieving excellence and sustainability.
For its part, the visiting delegation appreciated the efforts of the Department and its keenness to open the horizons of joint cooperation and mutual coordination, and to introduce positive experiences that enrich the work and achieve the best results.
