“Ajman Municipality Completes Participation in GITEX 2025”

The Municipality & Planning Department – Ajman completed its participation in “GITEX 2025”, which was held at Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC) over the period of 13-17 October of this year, as a part of the Government of Ajman’s stand, where the Department presented its latest digital projects and technological initiatives supporting the Emirate’s journey of smart transformation and environmental sustainability.

 

Honoring Technical Suppliers

From his side, Dr. Hamdan Mohammed Al Ali, the Department’s Deputy Executive Director of the Supporting Services Sector, honored the outstanding suppliers that contributed to supporting the Department’s projects and enhancing the quality of the provided services, emphasizing: “Partnership and cooperation with the private sector is a cornerstone for the accomplishment of the total development targets of Ajman Emirate, as the Department believes that it would not have succeeded without the intensive efforts and collaborative tasks for the achievement of the best results.”

 

Towards a Smarter & More Sustainable Future

From her side, Hind Salem Mattar Al-Shamsi, the Director of the Smart Services Development Department and the Chairman of the Department’s GITEX 2025 Committee, stated: “The Department’s participation this year was characterized by embarking a number of qualitative digital projects, most importantly, “warehouse contract certification” electronically, arising from our care for the development of our suite of services to facilitate undertaking business in the Emirate, as such regulatory service aims to protect the rights of lessors and lessees in accordance with the laws in force of the Emirate, and enables the certification of contracts electronically without the need for field visits, thanks to digital linking with entities, to become an integrated digital service all around the clock, reducing the service completion time to one working day.”

 

Bolstering Cooperation

Al-Shamsi added: “The Department signed a contract with “Du” for the development of the smart environmental gate system at the crusher sites in Ajman Emirate, enhancing environmental control and ensuring the sustainability of natural resources by the Internet of Things (IoT) and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies.

 

It is notable that the Department is keen every year to take part in the most prominent technical event in the region, embodying the directions of the wise leadership, and arising from its care for the adoption of advanced digital solutions that improve the quality of life and enhance the competitiveness of Ajman Emirate in the various fields.
