The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) has announced the launch of its new Online Warehouse Lease Renewal Attestation Service during its participation in day 3 of GITEX 2025, the region’s premier technology exhibition. This initiative comes as part of the MPDA’s ongoing efforts to enhance the doing business across the Emirate, and reflects its commitment to the continuous development of the national economy. The new digital service is designed to streamline customer journeys, boost the efficiency of digital government services, and align with the objectives of Ajman Vision 2030, which aims to create a competitive business environment and an investment-friendly climate that fuels sustainable economic growth.
Digital Integration
Eng. Khalid Moeen Al Hosani, Executive Director of the Public Health and Environment Sector at the MPDA, officially launched the service at the MPDA’s platform during GITEX 2025. He emphasized that the initiative is part of the MPDA’s ongoing sustainable development journey aimed at enhancing the customer experience and simplifying procedures. This regulatory service is designed to safeguard the rights of both lessors and lessees in accordance with applicable laws in the Emirate. It allows for the online attestation of warehouse leases without the need for site visits or submission through third-party platforms, thanks to digital integration with key entities such as the Department of Economic Development and Ajman Sewerage Company.
Integrated Digital Service
Eng. Al Hosani said that the new system features automated verification of commercial permit activities and the automatic transfer of requests to the “Raqeeb” system to schedule inspection visits based on the type of activity. The system also supports online payment and enables users to receive their certified contracts and permits directly through Tasdeeq system. These enhancements have significantly reduced service completion time to just one working day, minimized required documentation, and delivered a seamless, fully digital 24/7 service experience for users.

The MPDA concluded its third-day participation at the exhibition with notable turnout from visitors and industry experts, who were drawn to its interactive platform, showcasing the latest digital projects and innovative initiatives. The participation reflects the MPDA’s ongoing commitment to realizing its vision of a smarter, more sustainable future for the Emirate of Ajman.
