The Municipality & Planning Department – Ajman and Al Etihad Credit Bureau (AECB) discussed the means for bolstering joint cooperation and enhancing digital integration for data exchange and technical linking between both sides, by the creation of a direct and secure communication channel that enables the efficient sharing of information, contributing to developing the quality of services and enhancing the competency of enterprise procedures.
H.E. Abdul-Rahman Mohammed Al-Nuaimi, the Department’s Director-General, welcomed the visiting delegation, presided by H.E. Marwan Lutfi, the Company’s Director-General, with the presence of Dr. Hamdan Mohammed Al Ali, the Deputy Executive Director of the Supporting Services Sector, and a number of officials.
H.E. Abdul-Rahman Al-Nuaimi emphasized the Department’s care for expanding the horizons of present and future operation with all pioneering entities and companies in the digital field, in the course of the ongoing exerted and integrated efforts aligning with the trends of Ajman Vision 2030 for the attainment of government leadership by flexibility, innovation, competency, and focus on results.
Both parties discussed in the meeting the importance of supporting the efforts for the governance of services by providing comprehensive credit reports that enable the Department to assess the financial situation of the entities wishing to cooperate therewith, and enhancing the accuracy of licensing or partnership decisions.
The meeting included a discussion on enabling the qualified and ambitious action teams of the Department to have access to AECB’s system for the inspection of financial and credit records, and taking regulatory decisions that are based on clear data, contributing to the reduction of risks and enhancing the stability of the business environment.
At the end of the visit, it was agreed on the organization of induction workshops to introduce the mechanism of the system’s operation, and the means of availing of the reports thereof within the various sectors, supporting the Department’s vision for the attainment of competency and transparency in the provided services.
