The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) announced its readiness to deal with the air low pressure expected during the period from this March 22nd-26th.
The MPDA noted that it has formed 16 work teams to be deployed across the Emirate, and has also provided 4 mobile pumps and 70 fixed pumps for immediate dealing in the event of rain.
The MPDA explained that the work, emergency and field teams have prepared a proactive plan to deal immediately with the expected cases in the event of air low pressure, as real-time monitoring of the weather condition is underway to raise level of readiness to red.
The MPDA confirmed adopting a smart system in dealing with reported cases, as it receives reports and complaints through ten approved channels, and receives reports of emergencies via hotline 80070.
The MPDA added that it will direct all advisory offices operating in the Emirate of Ajman to follow its circular on bad weather conditions in emergencies, seeking everyone’s safety.
