MPDA completes all preparations to receive Eid Al-Fitr

The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) announced the completion of all preparations for receiving Eid Al-Fitr, as it will continue to receive public transactions related to its entire services through online and smart channels only, as part of its keenness to provide the best services to Ajman’s residents, visitors and tourists.

 

Extensive Inspection Campaigns

The MPDA has developed a holistic plan for the implementation of campaigns of inspecting and controlling food and health facilities, which see an increased turnout during holidays, a matter which contributes to preserving public health in the community. The inspection teams continue to work around the clock to monitor the facilities’ compliance with health requirements.

Inspectors continue their work to guarantee that all facilities adhere to the approved health laws and regulations to ensure the health and safety of community members, as the MPDA strives for enhancing the culture of self-control among the owners and employees of facilities to ensure their continuous compliance with health laws and regulations.

Inspections of the Food Trade Department continue during Eid Al-Fitr to control imported food shipments in coordination with strategic partners to ensure the management of food imports of Ajman and the state, enhance food security in the state and facilitate procedures for customers by using the MPDA’s online services and work systems used to serve customers.

 

Decorating Ajman’s Streets

In light of this, , MPDA has decorated the emirate’s streets, parks, squares, bridges, and Masfout and Manama regions, with congratulatory expressions and illuminated billboards that reflect the joy of the public with Eid Al-Fitr.

 

Parks Open

The Department of Agriculture and Parks announced the opening of all parks and public facilities during the days of Eid Al-Fitr from 4:00 pm to 11:00 pm, provided that Al Rashidiya Park will receive its visitors from 8:00 am to 11:00 pm, noting that the parks will see activities that address all segments of society to spend the most beautiful times.

 

Abattoir Preparations and Working Hours

MPDA also noted that abattoirs have completed all preparations for work during the days of Eid al-Fitr, as the central abattoir will open its doors throughout Eid al-Fitr from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm, except for Friday, which will start from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm, saying that it has provided qualified manpower, including technicians and workers, to serve the auditors and check the equipment.

MPDA called on the public to commit to slaughtering inside the abattoirs and avoid slaughtering outside the approved abattoirs to ensure the safety of the meat for the consumer, as the Municipal Control and Inspection Department will take the approved actions against the violators, asking the public to report violations by contacting 80070.

 

Masfout and Manama Abattoirs

MPDA noted that the Masfout Abattoir will receive customers on Friday from 7:00 am to 12:00 pm. The evening shift continues from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The abattoir will receive customers on the rest of the Eid days during the morning time from 7:00 am to 1:00 pm, and the evening shift continues From 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The Manama Abattoir will receive customers on Friday from 7:30 am to 12:00 pm, and will receive customers on the rest of the Eid days from 7:30 am to 1:00 pm.

 

People’s Kitchen Equipment and Holiday Campaigns

MPDA noted that it will carry out periodic and intensive campaigns on food preparation and delivery facilities, consumer complexes, cooperatives, and people’s kitchens to ensure their compliance with health and safety standards, ensure the quality of foodstuffs, and handle complaints around the clock. It explained that efforts are intensively made to ensure that facilities meet the health requirements necessary to prepare and provide food and adhere to good health practices approved by MPDA.

 

Free Parking

MPDA announced the exemption of all parking lots subject to fees during Eid al-Fitr.
