The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) wrapped up its participation in the GITEX 2023, wherein it showcased its digital projects and developed services within the Ajman Government platform, at the Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC), from October 16th to 20th.
In this vein, Hind Al Shamsi, MPDA’s Director of the Smart Services Department and Chairwoman of the GITEX 2023 Committee, asserted that the MPDA, over the world’s most important technical event, successfully showcased its distinguished projects and digital achievements, and introduce its pavilion’s visitors to its latest technical achievements. The MPDA is always dedicated to ceaseless development and improvement to enrich the customer experience and ensure quality of life.

Al Shamsi added that the MPDA’s pavilion eyed the launch of the Ajman’s Sustainable Spatial Map, the Ajman 15-Minute City Initiative, the Siteplan Automatic Renewal Service, and the Automatic Lease Agreement Attestation Service, noting that the MPDA’s qualified cadres never stops developing to provide the best
Awarding Suppliers
Al Shamsi said that the MPDA attributes its successes to the intensified efforts and business integration, and therefore it was keen to award the distinguished suppliers. Memorandums of understanding were signed with different authorities to develop joint work during the event.
Distinctive Mark
Al Shamsi noted that the wise leadership chaired by His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department, and with direct follow-up from His Excellency Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Department, urged the importance of participating in the global digital event, to be able to leave a distinctive mark.
Awarding Staff
The Ajman Government platform awarded the MPDA’s staff, who work diligently to highlight a bright picture of the MPDA’s progress in the field of digital transformation, adopting the best latest technologies, and employing artificial intelligence for work and life quality.
The MPDA also announced the names of the winners of the competition that came in conjunction with GITEX, and witnessed notable participation of various segments.
