His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, President of the Emirates Football Association, affirmed that Zayed Day for Humanitarian commemorates the good deeds of the founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God rest his soul, whose giving was recorded in history and whose giving hands reached every place in the world.
His Highness continued that the wise leadership headed by His Highness Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, may God protect him and his fellow rulers, may God protect them, continues the march of giving and generosity, stressing that humanitarian work in our country is a consistent work strategy and a way of life, indicating that the United Arab Emirates is an ideal model for cooperation and collaboration launched projects and initiatives aimed at supporting the vulnerable, backing the affected, and providing relief to the afflicted.
His Highness said that Zayed Al-Khair established the foundations of humanity, so he helped the needy and supported the vulnerable with word and deed, and left an immortal imprint and left a great legacy inscribed in the bright pages of history, following up that the wise leadership takes the approach of Zayed Al-Khair in its daily work, so it initiated the launch of charitable projects and humanitarian initiatives, including the campaign of endowment of one billion meals, which reflects the humanitarian work of the UAE and its commitment to developing long-term solutions to improve people’s lives.
His Highness continued that humanitarian work is the values instilled in the hearts of the people of the country, so the became pioneers in extending helping hands, as we have witnessed their eagerness to participate in the Bridges of Goodness campaign to help those affected by the earthquake in Syria and Turkey.
His Highness said, “We pray to God to make our father Zayed in the heaven of bliss, as he lived his life to make his people happy and alleviate the suffering of peoples around the world, and he established the rules of giving and benevolence in the hearts of the people of the country.”
