H.H. Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, received the Global Brands Awards 2026 award in the category of Most Advanced Solutions in Market Analytics and Mapping, won by the Department for its Smart Investment Maps project.
The award recognises the project’s significance and pioneering role in leveraging digital technologies and advanced geospatial data to develop intelligent solutions that support investment decision-making, enhance the efficiency of investment opportunity management, and strengthen Ajman’s position as an attractive investment destination.
During a ceremony honouring the project team, His Highness praised the efforts made in sustainable development, reflecting the Department’s commitment to accelerating digital transformation and adopting innovative solutions that enhance operational processes and open new horizons for advancing the investment ecosystem.
He noted that the Smart Investment Maps project represents a significant advancement in the use of geospatial data and advanced analytics to transform information into strategic insights that support decision-making and improve the efficiency of investment planning and opportunity management.
His Highness added that the Department continues its sustained efforts to advance digital development, expand the adoption of modern technologies, and harness artificial intelligence to strengthen the competitiveness of the Emirate of Ajman and enhance the investor experience.
For his part, Dr. Hamdan Mohammed Al Ali, Executive Director of the Support Services Sector at the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, presented His Highness with a detailed overview of the project, including its objectives, implementation phases and achieved results.
He affirmed that the project had earned the award by meeting all the required criteria and standards and achieving outstanding results.
