The Department of Municipality and Planning – Ajman received a delegation from the Department of Economic Development – Ajman. This visit comes as part of joint cooperation and expertise exchange efforts between government bodies in the Emirate of Ajman, in a way that contributes to the development of institutional work system and raising the levels of excellence in projects management.
Mrs. Aisha Humaid Al Matrooshi, Director of the Project Management and Business Development Office at the Municipality, welcomed the visiting delegation, which was headed by Mrs. Fatima Mohammed, Director of the Project Management Office at the Department of Economic Development. During the meeting, she reviewed several key issues, including the project management governance model, the processes and work systems applied in the projects management at the Municipality, and strategic and operational performance indicators. She also presented the experience of automating the project lifecycle through the Electronic Tarabut (connection) System, as a successful model for digital transformation and improvement of project implementation efficiency.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of continuous learning and knowledge transfer in the field of project management, considering them two essential elements for achieving institutional development and sustainable in performance. The importance of promoting a culture of excellence and exchanging expertise was also emphasized, in order to achieve integration and boosting the efficiency and effectiveness of implementation of government projects.
