The Municipality & Planning Department – Ajman completed its participation in the summer program of the Government of Ajman, “Our Happy Summer 2025”, attracting 403 participants of various age categories, within a package of training and communal programs that spanned over a whole month from 14 July to 14 August 2025.
180 Training Hours
The Department organized 15 training programs in the city of Ajman and the cities of Masfout and Manama, consisting of 180 training hours, covering various scientific, specialist, media and communal programs, as well as a specialist workshop.
The Empowerment of Ambitious Generations
From his side, Mr. Ibrahim Samra Al-Shehhi, the Director of the Department’s Communication & Society Department and the Head of the Department’s programs’ teams within “Our Happy Summer 2025” program, emphasized: “The completion of the program reflects the success of the exerted efforts to instill the values of knowledge and creativity amongst children and the youth. Most programs were implemented by the Department’s inner staff.”
Various Programs
Al-Shehhi said: “The programs consisted of 9 scientific programs, as well as the specialist programs that included the programs of Ajman Smart City, Smart Maps Generation, and Geospatial Summer Camp, beside a communal program titled “Our Legacy is Alive”, and a media program titled “Alpha Studio”, and a specialist workshop titled “Smart Lab Analyst.””
The Development of Skills
Al-Shehhi added: “The events have achieved their objectives for the enhancement of creative thinking skills in the fields of artificial intelligence, digital media, geographical information systems and programming, beside the instillation of the values of loyalty and communal belongingness. The Department was keen to engage the people of determination within the programs, enhancing their communal integration and the development of their capabilities.”
Sustainable Success
Al-Shehhi applauded the efforts of the higher committee of the summer program, presided by H.E. Ahmed Al-Raeesi, the Director of the Office of H.H. The Chairman of Ajman Executive Council, and its hard work for the delivery of what is the best to the society, the enhancement of the skills and talents of the youthful generations, and supporting all entities, organizations and departments for launching quality programs.
Cooperation with Partners
Al-Shehhi appreciated the role of the partners in ensuring the success of the events, most notably, Ajman Society of Social & Cultural Development, Emirates Autism Society, Youth X Hub – Ajman, Ajman University, and Citizens Affairs Office, while he noted: “The Department will continue the work to launch quality initiatives in the upcoming years in what would cope with the aspirations of the society and lay out the foundation for a creative and versed generation.”
