The Department of Municipality and Planning – Ajman announced a significant growth in the value of rental transactions during the first half of 2025, as the total value of the transactions reached AED 2.912 billion, achieving a percentage of 54.18% increase compared to the same period in the past three years. This growth is in line with the Ajman’s Vision 2030 to create a competitive business environment and investment climate that drives economic growth.
In this regard, His Excellency, Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Department, emphasized that the positive results embody the distinguished aspirations of the wise leadership, the unlimited support provided to relevant groups, and the effective integration among the various entities, making the Emirate of Ajman a preferred destination for investment, housing, tourism, and a sustainable economy.

His Excellency added that the Department continues to develop its services by harnessing artificial intelligence and modern technologies to simplify procedures and enhance customer experience, in line with the national programs, most notably the Zero Bureaucracy Program. He praised the integration projects with partners, which have contributed to expediting the completion of transactions and achieving a tangible impact on the quality of life for residents, as the emirate provides an ideal environment for stability and the establishment of successful projects.

On his part, Mr. Yousef Khaled Al Nuaimi, Acting Director of the Rental Regulation Department at the Department, explained that the value of residential contracts during the first half of this year amounted to AED 1.607 billion, while commercial contracts recorded approximately AED 1.196 billion, and investment contracts reached AED 108 million.
Al Nuaimi continued that the number of tenancy contracts witnessed significant growth, with 57,769 residential contracts, 21,037 commercial contracts, and 116 investment contracts completed, bringing the total number of the rental contracts to 78,922 during the first half of the year.
Al Nuaimi pointed out that Ajman’s vital geographical location, which makes it a link between the emirates of the State, played a pivotal role in attracting more investors and residents, alongside the efforts of qualified personnel to improve the customer journey and enhance the quality of services provided.
