The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman welcomed a delegation from Ras Al Khaimah Municipality to review leading experiences and innovative practices adopted by the Department in managing lease contracts and developing mechanisms for resolving related disputes, as well as to explore the legislative and regulatory frameworks established in the emirate to aid in the formulation of internal policies and procedures for both parties.
Mr. Yousef Khalid Al Nuaimi, the Acting Director of the Rental Regulation Department, greeted the visiting delegation, which was led by Ms. Aisha Zaid Al Habsi, the Director of the Real Estate Registration Department. He provided a detailed presentation on the most recent innovations and advancements in the lease contract attestation system, including the complete automation and the removal of bureaucratic obstacles.
Al Nuaimi discussed the automated lease contract attestation project, which has successfully reduced interaction points to zero and eliminated the necessity for customer visits by automating the review and attestation processes without the need for human involvement. He underscored the accomplishments achieved by the Department in this domain, which have directly reflected on increased customer satisfaction and improved quality of government services within the Emirate.
The meeting also included a review of the Department’s service delivery strategy and the vital role it plays in promoting government excellence and facilitating the customer journey. This includes the involvement of all concerned stakeholders, including customers, real estate professionals, judges, partners, and employees, in service development and performance efficiency improvement.
The visiting delegation appreciated the Department’s pioneering experience, emphasizing that the visit opens broad horizons for cooperation and knowledge exchange. It contributes to advancing municipal work and real estate services in a way that serves mutual interests and strengthens the UAE’s competitiveness in the government sector.
At the conclusion of the visit, both parties agreed to exchange information and field experiences, and to intensify institutional coordination to enhance mutual benefit in line with the aspirations of the wise leadership and the UAE’s vision to be the best globally in government service delivery.
