The Municipality & Planning Department – Ajman announced the completion of its preparations for taking part in the summer program of the Government of Ajman “Our Summer of Happiness 2025”, whose events kick-off on the upcoming 14th of July and continue until the 14th of August, under the auspices of H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al-Nuaimi, the Crown Prince of Ajman and the Chairman of the Executive Council, announcing the organization of more than 15 scientific, specialized, media and communal programs.
In this regard, Mr. Ibrahim Samra Al-Shehhi, the Director of the Department’s Communication & Community Department, confirmed: “The Department has prepared an integrated plan for the organization of various programs that target children and the youth of various age categories, with a view to develop their skills and enhance their scientific and life knowledge, coping with the rapid developments worldwide, and laying out the foundation for an ambitious and capable generation in various fields.”
620 Beneficiaries and More Than 35 Programs During the Past Years
Al-Shehhi noted: “The Department’s participation this year takes place as a continuation of the successes of the past years, as the previous programs achieved vast and positive interaction by participants, attracting during the past years of the governmental program more than 620 participants, and organizing more than 35 programs. In addition, the events of this year will focus on the development of creative thinking skills in artificial intelligence, digital media, geographic information systems, programming, and other scientific and specialist fields, and the instillation of the values of communal loyalty and belongingness.”
Specialized Programs for the Various Regions of the Emirate
Al-Shehhi stated: “The summer programs will be held at various locations, including the city of Ajman, Masfoot and Al-Manama, arising from the Department’s care for access to all categories of the society, and enabling children in various regions to avail of the offered activities, in addition to caring for participation in the programs by the people of determination to enhance their communal integration and develop their personal and social capabilities.”
He also stated: “The programs have been designed in a flexible and interactive manner that combines education and entertainment to provide an inspiring summer experience and to give the children a space to demonstrate their energy and creativity within a safe and motivating environment.”
