Ajman Municipality Finalizes its Preparations to Celebrate the Blessed Eid al-Adha

The Ajman Municipality and Planning Department has announced its complete readiness to greet the Blessed Eid al-Adha, affirming the ongoing provision of its services via smart channels. This initiative is part of its efforts to streamline procedures and allow customers to complete their transactions at any time and from any location, aligning with the Ajman Vision 2030, which aims to foster a civilized environment that enhances the emirate’s appeal and improves the quality of life within it.

 

The Slaughterhouses ready for Sacrifices

The Department has confirmed that the slaughterhouses in the emirate are fully equipped, including the deployment of specialized medical personnel to assess the sacrifices both prior to and following slaughter in accordance with international standards, ensuring their safety and absence of diseases. The central slaughterhouse will be open to the public on Arafa Day from 7:30 AM until 3:00 PM, and operations will resume on the first days of Eid immediately after the Eid al-Adha prayers until 4:00 PM. Furthermore, services will be available throughout the Eid days from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, indicating that technical staff and trained labor have been provided, in addition to ensuring that the equipment is ready to handle various types of sacrifices.

 

Masfoot and Manama Slaughterhouses

The Department clarified that Masfoot will operate during two time frames from Arafah day until the third day of Eid. The morning period will commence at 07:00 AM and conclude at 01:00 PM, while on Arafah day, the evening period will take place from 04:00 PM to 07:00 PM. Subsequently, the evening hours will continue from 03:00 PM to 07:00 PM.

 

Regarding the Manama Slaughterhouse, it will be operational throughout all days of Eid from 06:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The Department has urged the public to ensure that sacrificial animals are slaughtered in official slaughterhouses and to refrain from engaging with itinerant butchers. They emphasized that the Control and Inspection Department will seize any slaughtered sacrifices that occur outside the legal framework and will impose penalties on offenders. The Department has urged reporting any infractions by calling the number 80070.

 

Control of the livestock market

The Department has confirmed the readiness of incoming shipments to the livestock market and their adherence to safety standards, noting that inspection teams are actively engaged in monitoring the health status of the animals to guarantee their suitability for human consumption.

 

Intensive control of food establishments

In preparation for Eid, the Department has developed a comprehensive strategy to implement rigorous inspection and control campaigns on food and health facilities that experience heightened demand during the holiday period. This is to ensure adherence to health standards, with inspection teams operating continuously.

 

Ongoing examination of food shipments

The Department has indicated that the Food Trade Bureau is actively collaborating with the Port and Customs Department to guarantee the inspection of food containers and the timely completion of their release. Efforts are also underway to facilitate the transfer of food shipments to Ajman companies via the federal “ZAD” Portal, alongside the establishment of precise inspection schedules for these shipments.

 

Complimentary parking and street embellishment

The Department has declared that parking fees will be waived during the Eid al-Adha holiday from June 5 to 8, with fees resuming on June 9, 2025. Additionally, the emirate’s streets, parks, and squares have been adorned with approximately 1050 illuminated artworks and congratulatory messages that capture the festive spirit of the holiday.

 

Parks and public amenities are accessible to visitors

The Agriculture and Public Parks Department has announced that parks and public facilities will be open from 4:30 pm to 11 pm, while Al Rashidiya Park will welcome visitors from 03:00 pm to 12:00 am. The Department extends its congratulations to residents and visitors on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, wishing everyone a joyful holiday and enjoyable moments.
