The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman received a delegation from Etihad Water and Electricity, led by Eng. Awad Al Seiari, Senior Vice President of Projects, to discuss ongoing and future collaboration in developing integrated infrastructure and enhancing sustainable development in the Emirate.
In this context, Eng. Khalifa Abdullah Al Falasi, Director of the Buildings Department, stressed that the Department aims to strengthen collaboration and consolidate the existing partnership with all stakeholders involved in advancing, developing, and improving the efficiency of infrastructure projects in the Emirate, underscoring the significance of integrating tasks and intensifying efforts to reach the desired objectives.
Eng. Al Falasi emphasized that the effort aligns with the goals of Ajman Vision 2030 and its strategic aims, highlighting that Etihad Water and Electricity is a crucial partner and performs an important role in the success of essential projects.
In the meeting attended by the directors of the Department’s Infrastructure Development Sector and the visiting delegation, both parties agreed to exchange data on urban expansion and future sector plans, encompassing the urban plan, road, and infrastructure projects, and also to exchange data on future projects approved by both sides and establish a geospatial connection, enhancing the real-time exchange of infrastructure data between them.
The meeting addressed multiple files related to zero bureaucracy, simplifying procedures and accelerating the implementation of infrastructure projects in the Emirate. The meeting also discussed the development of joint community meetings between the two parties for consultants and contractors aimed at raising efficiency and introducing the joint procedures between the two sides.
The meeting recommended the exchange of data on future projects, and the study of projects that achieve zero bureaucracy in the framework of joint keenness to provide ideal services to society.
