The Ajman X Center of the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman, welcomed a delegation from the Fujairah Natural Resources Corporation (FNRC) to explore the leading practices implemented in the institutional innovation management, as well as the operational mechanisms of the accredited innovation laboratories at the Center.
Establishing a Pioneering National Innovation System
In this context, Sheikha Dr. Noura Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Innovation Advisor and Director of Ajman X Center, emphasized that this visit signifies the Center’s commitment to enhancing collaboration and sharing expertise with governmental entities across the UAE, thereby bolstering the collective efforts aimed at establishing a pioneering national innovation system.
The meeting featured a presentation by the Ajman X Center team of the operational mechanisms and methodologies employed to support the institutional innovation management system and foster an environment conducive to creativity. Additionally, it highlighted the Center’s experience in implementing global best practices and aligning the innovation system with government excellence at the emirate level, in accordance with contemporary institutional innovation standards.

The visit also included a field tour of the Ajman X laboratories, during which the delegation was informed about the infrastructure that supports innovation, the digital platforms utilized for idea management, and the technologies designed to promote employee engagement and convert creative ideas into actionable projects.
