H.E. Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, the Director General of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, along with H.E. Rashed Abdulrahman Bin Jebran Alsuwaidi, the Director General of the Human Resources Department of the Ajman Government, were informed about the pillars of “Innovation Makers Journey” program during a site visit to the Innovation Lab at Ajman X Center. This initiative is designed to empower and qualify Ajman Government employees in innovation by enabling them to earn four internationally recognized professional certificates accredited by the Global Institute for Innovation (GINI).
In this context, H.E. Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi emphasized that the training program, which is organized in collaboration with the Human Resources Department of the Ajman Government, reflects the Department’s dedication to realizing the vision of the esteemed leadership to foster a culture of innovation and institutional excellence, thereby investing in the development of human resources, which is fundamental to achieving sustainable development. “We are committed to working together to equip human talents with the most current knowledge and skills, enabling them to deliver exceptional government services that align with the aspirations of society,” H.E. said.

For his part, H.E. Rashed Abdulrahman Bin Jebran Alsuwaidi stressed that the program embodies a comprehensive knowledge experience designed to foster a culture of innovation among employees of the Ajman government. He highlighted the Department’s dedication to developing national competencies in accordance with the highest international standards, thereby enhancing their ability to create innovative solutions that improve government services, increase performance efficiency, and bolster investment in human capital, which serves as the fundamental pillar for achieving excellence and leadership in governmental operations.

Sheikha Dr. Noura Humaid Al Nuaimi, Innovation Advisor and Director of Ajman X Center, explained that the program serves as a specialized training platform that empowers Ajman government employees to gain innovative skills and tools necessary for enhancing the work environment and elevating the quality of services offered. She underscored the commitment to supporting initiatives aimed at fostering institutional innovation and contributing to the development of qualified personnel capable of adopting smart solutions.
Enhancing Governmental Innovation Efficacy
It is important to highlight that the “Innovation Makers Journey” program is part of the partnership memorandum established between the Department of Human Resources and the Municipality and Planning Department. It is also a part of a broader strategy designed to improve the efficacy of government innovation and boost the competitiveness of the Ajman government by advancing the skills and capabilities of employees across various sectors.
The five-month training program encompasses four primary pillars, which include: Certified Innovation Professional (CInP), Design Thinking Professional (CDTP), Certified Innovation Strategist (CInS), and Certified Innovation Evaluator (AInA). This program targets supervisory and executive personnel, as well as employees engaged in innovation or strategic roles, with the objective of enhancing their cognitive and practical skills in the realm of government innovation.
