The Municipality and planning Department in Ajman received a delegation from Sharjah City Municipality, as part of the exchanged visits, to review the best administrative and financial services and practices, in order to achieve the best results and consolidate joint cooperation and mutual coordination between the Parties.
Mr. Abdul Rauf Mahmoud Mohamed Ismail, Director of the Department’s Financial Affairs Department, welcomed the visiting delegation, expressing the Department’s keenness to open the horizons of work and continuous development between the entities in qualitative fields, and to exchange professional experiences in an effort to achieve excellence and leadership.
The meeting included a review of the working mechanisms and policies adopted in the Department, the procedures followed to ensure financial efficiency in the sustainability of revenues and financial collection, methods of collecting fees and fines by taking advantage of existing partnerships with government agencies. The best practices adopted in the Department for the management of bids and related regulatory procedures by Contract and Procurement Department specialists were also reviewed. Additionally, the best administrative and financial practices applied in Sharjah City Municipality were presented, and the development and update of internal policies based on the mutual experiences between the two entities were discussed.
For their part, the visiting delegation appreciated the cooperation of the Department and its keenness to document the bridges of mutual coordination and share the best experiences that enrich the work and achieve the desired qualitative results.
