Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi Inspects Work Progress in the Control Room of the Municipal Control and Inspection Department

7920 Field visits by Rassed Inspectors in 2022

H.E. Abdulrahman Mohammed Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, inspected the work progress in the control room in which the Municipal Control and Inspection Department “Rassed” follows up the control tasks using the latest smart technologies, to preserve the infrastructure and public facilities in the emirate and enhance the aesthetic appearance of Ajman and make it one of the best cities to live.

This came during a field visit by His Excellency, in which he was accompanied by Eng. Khalid Moeen Al Hosani, the Department’s Executive Director of the Public Health & Environment Sector. H.E. appreciated the efforts of the department that managed to achieve the desired goals in the past year, where inspectors carried out 7920 field inspections in the Emirate, and the control room personnel continued 24-hours follow-up and immediate dealing with all reports and complaints received through the hotline 80070, and the smart application of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, MPDA.

“Rassed succeeded in managing municipal control and inspection operations efficiently and effectively in accordance with best practices, responding to 10885 complaints, reports and observations during the past year. The department adopted an integrated and comprehensive plan covering all regions of the Emirate”, he said, expressing his pride in the efforts and calling on the competent personnel to continue the work that highlights the positive image of the Emirate of Ajman.

For his part, Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Director of the Municipal Control and Inspection Department, gave a detailed explanation to His Excellency about the achievements of Rassed in 2022, indicating that the trained personnel adopt the principles of social responsibility, and accordingly the department provided community services and dealt with many humanitarian cases, and Rased seeks to maintain health and safety of the community through 24-hour inspection campaigns and the monitoring of negative practices, in addition to educating and guiding the community. “Our objective is to achieve the desired strategic goals, namely the development of infrastructure and the completion of operations in record time, taking into account the requirements of the environment, health and safety”, he said.
