MPDA sign two MoUs with Ajman Police General Command, Al-Etihad Credit Bureau

His Highness Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department of Land and Real Estate Regulation in Ajman, reviewed the digital projects, applications and smart services provided by the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA), while participating under the umbrella of the Ajman Government in the GITEX 2023.
His Highness appreciated the MPDA’s keenness to provide the best services to customers, and efforts to ensure the quality of life and happiness of society, commending the MPDA’s successes in the digital field and dedicated and round-the-clock work to achieve the best.
At the MPDA’s pavilion, Crown Prince of Ajman, His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Ammar Al Nuaimi was briefed on the MPDA’s accomplishments in the artificial intelligence field, stressing the intensified efforts of all departments and their integrated work to advance the complete digital transformation system in the emirate for the benefit of all.
During its day two in the most important technical exhibition in the region, the MPDA’s pavilion received dignitaries, their Excellencies, experts, specialists and various segments of society.
Automatic Lease Agreement Attestation Service
The MPDA started day two’s events with the inauguration of the Automatic Lease Agreement Attestation Service through Tasdeeq, by His Excellency Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, the MPDA’s Director General. The Service is geared towards enabling the customer to automatically attest lease contracts through a unified portal linked to the strategic partner.
His Excellency explained that the MPDA tirelessly seeks, relying on its qualified human competencies, to streamline procedures and provide the best services to customers and enable them to complete their request within record time and in any place. The Automatic Lease Agreement Attestation Service enables the landlord and tenant to access the service via 4 various channels; Ajman One APP, MPDA APP, website, and WhatsApp Business Channel 80026, by logging in and matching the digital ID account for request approval, providing smooth and flexible customer journey, as all parties will be notified through SMS, e-mail and WhatsApp, His Excellency noted.
His Excellency added that the Service is a qualitative leap, saving a lot of effort and time for the employee and the customer, and contributing to strengthening the relationship between landlords, tenants and the MPDA and increasing confidence in the services provided.
Digital Ajman Honors MPDA
Day two eyed His Excellency Ohoud Shuhail, Director General of the Department of Digital Ajman, honoring the MPDA, where the Shield of Appreciation was received by Ms. Hind Al Shamsi, MPDA’s Director of the Smart Services Department and head of the GITEX team, in appreciation of the MPDA’s efforts, contribution to the success of the event and effective participation under the umbrella of the Ajman Government.
Two Memorandums of Understanding
The MPDA, represented by His Excellency Abdul Rahman Al Nuaimi, signed a memorandum of understanding with the Ajman Police General Headquarters, represented by His Excellency Brigadier General Khaled Mohammed Abdullah Al Nuaimi, the Deputy Commander-in-Chief of Police.
The memo reads activating coordination in the field of joint services between the two parties in the website, smart application, or public benefit services. The two parties shall coordinate and cooperate in the field of government integration in electronic and smart services and the exchange of information and big open data through secure electronic interconnections in a manner that raises the satisfaction of customers and society.
The MPDA, represented by Mr. Khalid Ahmed Al Hosani, Executive Director of the MPDA’s Support Services Sector also signed a memorandum of understanding with Al-Etihad Credit Bureau, represented Mr. Ibrahim Al Zaabi, Head of the Business Development Department.
In this connection, Hosani noted that the memo reflects the desire of both parties to support, develop and enhance their partnership relations, contributing to unifying joint efforts for serving public good according to an institutional framework consistent with the obligations and competencies of each of them, and consistent with the strategic plans of both parties.
For his part, Mr. Ibrahim Al Zaabi said, “We are pleased to cooperate with the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman, as this cooperation will help enrich the credit report information, which in turn will clarify lease obligations, a matter that will make a noticeable difference for our partners who rely on the credit report to measure the creditworthiness of individuals and companies alike.”
The memo aims to strengthen joint cooperation and contribute to disseminating knowledge in government work in order to achieve the strategy of the Ajman Government, benefit from the cumulative mutual experiences of both parties and exchange studies, research and expertise aimed at improving institutional work to build a partnership relationship between the two parties to achieve common strategic goals.
It is worth mentioned that the MPDA’s pavilion saw a large turnout of visitors who came to learn about the latest electronic services and smart applications.
