89,823 transactions completed during first half of 2023 Abdul Rahman Al-Nuaimi praises qualified competencies in Ajman’s Rental Regulation Department


His Excellency Abdul Rahman Muhammad Al-Nuaimi, Director General of the Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA), praised the efforts made by the qualified competencies in the Rental Regulation Department, who have managed 89,823 transactions during the first half of 2023, as part of the continuous work to ensure the society’s life quality and happiness.


This came during his Excellency’s field visit to the Department’s headquarters, accompanied by Eng. Noura Rashed Shattaf, Executive Director of the Strategy and Customer Happiness Sector.

His Excellency noted that the Department always seeks to develop and improve services as a convenience to customers and to ensure that they receive the best service in record time and in an easy manner.


For her part, Eng. Noura Shattaf explained that the Department has made breakthroughs during the last period, and has prepared a comprehensive and integrated plan for improvement and development geared towards providing the best services to customers. The Department works all around the clock to achieve the desired link with the affiliated departments and other external departments for best results, she noted.


For his part, Mr. Ammar Abdul-Karim Al Kayed, Director of the Rental Regulation Department, gave a detailed explanation to His Excellency Al-Nuaimi on the Department’s work and current and future projects, noting that the Department keeps on improving and launching smart digital channels to achieve best results.


Al Kayed talked about the WhatsApp channel launched by the Department for the convenience of leasers and tenants and to enable them to renew residential and commercial contracts through the channel in a few minutes, as well as following up on the application status and communicating with the person in charge of the transaction.


The Department has worked on linking the Tasdeeq system and the Ammar system to improve and facilitate customer procedures, Al Kayed said, pointing out that the link has played great part in reducing the number of the required attachments and allowing automatic approval of the property registration service through linking with the Ammar system. The Department has also achieved the desired development of the services of the customer happiness platform, he added.


At the end of the visit, His Excellency Abdul Rahman Muhammad Al-Nuaimi directed the human cadres to keep moving forward and make every effort to provide the best services to all.


It is worth mentioning that the Rental Regulation Department has managed, during the last period of 2023, to register 3,520 properties, 47,086 residential contracts, and 19,189 commercial contracts. The number of investment contracts in Ajman has reached 161 contracts during the same period.
