Municipality & Planning Department Opens Bader Street- Sheikh Khalifa Street Bridge ​

Bader St-Sheikh Khalifa St Bridge was opened by the Municipality & Planning Department in Ajman, which worked on the development of the intersection below Al Rashidiya Bridge to provide free turning paths and facilitate traffic for those heading to Sheikh Khalifa St, one of the key vital and 24-hour busy streets in the Emirate.

 

His Excellency H.E. Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director-General of Municipality & Planning Department – Ajman stressed that the Department endeavors to complete vital projects that affect all society members and facilitate their daily life. “The working people strived to complete the work and  worked on the completion of work and kept working to complete the bridge” he added.

 

His Excellency continued that the Department assigned the supervision and execution of the project to qualified teams in Roads and Infrastructure Department and the bridge was constructed to the best international specifications which meet the quality and safety standards for its users.

 For his part, Eng. Abdullah Al Marzooqi, Director of Roads & Infrastructure Department said that the vital infrastructure development and bridge construction projects are continuously supported by His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman, and followed up by His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, who are keen on completing the important projects which create a perfect attracting environment for the emirate of Ajman which has all the makings of success and prosperity.

 

He added that, during the last period, the qualified resources have developed intersections, including the one below Ghalfa Bridge, where the Department provided turning paths and increased the number of lanes to absorb the increasing traffic and facilitate traffic flow.

 

Al Marzooqi added that the Department tries to make the Emirate as the most important comprehensive modern cities, by executing projects that boost the sustainable development, revitalize commercial traffic and attract residents from everywhere.
