Municipality and Planning Department of Ajman and Ajman Sewerage Company sign agreement, on enhancing common work and facilitating customer access

Ajman Municipality and Planning Department has signed a collaborative partnership agreement with Ajman Sewerage Company to enhance mutual cooperation between the two parties and strengthen strategic partnership to serve all individuals living in the emirate. The agreement seeks to improve the customers journey by facilitating the issuance and certification of lease contracts.

 

The agreement was signed on behalf of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman by HE Abdul Rahman Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Department, while Mr. Alias Sfeir, General Manager of the Ajman Sewerage Company, signed the agreement on the behalf of the company with a number of officials from both sides.

 

HE Dr. Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Department, stressed that the Department is keen to build bridges of constructive work and cooperation with all departments and entities to realize coordination and integration, ensuring the promotion of quality policies and excellence systems adopted by the Government of Ajman with the government and semi-government sectors for the public interest of the emirate.

 

HE said that the agreement includes the customer's ability to certify contracts through the Department's website without the need to go to Ajman Sewerage. HE added that the Department aims at consolidating joint efforts between the two parties to serve all types of customers and to benefit from the possibilities available to both parties represented in the human cadres, technical equipment and the cumulative practical experience of both sides.

 

For his side, Mr. Elias Sfeir said that the company seeks to regulate and coordinate procedures and legal, administrative and financial laws in force between the two parties according to an institutional framework that does not contradict with the obligations and competencies of each of them, and the strategic plans of both parties to serve the society and improve the level of services provided to citizens and residents.

 

According to the contract of collecting sewerage fees between the Department and the Company, which will continue for one year from the date of signing, the two parties have agreed to determine the value of each for each through the certification services of investments, commercial and housing lease contracts.

 

The agreement includes the department's obligation to notify the company of any complaints on the contracts submitted by the customers, in addition to providing data and results supporting the indicators related to the provision of services through the approved communication channels and action plans agreed between the parties.

 

The two parties agreed that Ajman Sewerage Company shall comply with the procedures for implementing each service, clarifying the role of the partner, including the time required to provide the service, the target rate of productivity of the second party employees, the volume of transactions received from the customers, documents and required service fees in addition to service related updating of information and data.

Both parties, with their employees and their dependents, during the agreement term, shall not disclose any data, information, documents or reports related to the subject matter of this agreement to any third party without the prior written consent of the other party.
