His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi directs to apply the best advanced techniques that contribute to enriching the municipal work and developing the services provided to customers

HH Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, chairman of the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, emphasized that simplifying and facilitating procedures to customers is the most important objective for which we are working. This came during a briefing on the draft strategic projects plan for the development of smart services management for 2019-2021, which is conducive to the development of the human resources capabilities working in the artificial intelligence of the department in order to satisfy the customers.


The meeting was attended by HH and HE Mr. Abdulrahman Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Department, Mr. Yousef Mohammed Abdullah Al Shaiba, Digital Transformation and AI Advisor to Chairman at Ajman Municipality & Planning Department, and the presence of the Executive Directors, HH was briefed on the vision, values, mission and accomplishments of the Department during the past year and its strategic plan for the coming years.


His Highness said that the vision of the management is an ambitious one that goes in line with the vision of the department as a whole by which the development of smart services management aims at achieving happiness for the customers and raise their satisfaction with the services provided by the department. HH said that the management was able to realize remarkable achievements during 2018, where the percentage of digital transformation in the department was 100%, which is a remarkable achievement that drives the pace of progress and prosperity in the department.


He pointed out that the management did not hesitate to launch and develop smart services. The management launched the main application of the Department (MPDA) and the "MAWQIFI" application in their new styles, and it launched as well the two inspection system platforms- “Raqeeb” and the violations system-  a platform for the integration of government links to crystallize and launch artificial intelligence strategy to achieve happiness and improve the satisfaction of customers on the services provided by the Department through the design and development of innovative and integrated digital services that enrich their experience and meet their aspirations


HH listened to a detailed explanation by Mrs Hala Rashid Al Tayyar Director of Intelligent Services Development, where she expressed the management's keenness to take the top position. The management won the first prize in the "Naqwa" award regarding the standards and projects for the IT standard and the authentication system project, as well as the Smart City Award, 2nd place award of the Gulf Digital Customer Experience Award for the best digital use of the government. It contributed as well as a key supporter in the department's winning of a five-star award received by the Customer Happiness Center in the Department of Municipality and Planning following the implementation of the World Star System for the classification of services in the Government of Ajman.


Al Tayyar continued that "The management has developed a road map in which it managed to achieve the digital transformation last year and will be working this year on 100% innovative business packages and will continue to pursue joint government integration and complete 21 initiatives in the area of artificial intelligence and innovation during 2020-2021.


His Highness urged the need to apply the best advanced techniques that contribute to enriching the municipal work and developing the services provided to customers, which contributes to the happiness of the customer and to reach him/her at any time and at any place.
