His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi Confirms the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department’s Keenness to Launch Growth and Prosperity Projects

His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department, confirmed that the Department has succeeded in launching vital projects in various areas and fields and thus, contributed, during the recent period, to binging growth and prosperity into the Emirate, while achieving the highest levels of excellence and leadership, as is evidenced by the results of the Department of Projects’ indicators achieved for the past years. This was carried out in the presence of His Excellency Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Ajman Municipality and Planning Department.


In this respect, His Highness pointed out that the Department of Projects has now become a center of excellence, by adopting the highest local and international standards, achieving honorable results and collecting international certificates, while praising the human talent who have intensified their efforts exerted and set high-end goals to carry out distinctive projects that would benefit everyone.


Furthermore, Al Nuaimi affirmed that the Department of Projects has sought to conduct a number of vital projects during the past year, including infrastructure, environmental and service projects, among others, as well as to conduct development projects to enable and provide customers with ideal services in record time and with utmost accuracy.


He also praised the achievements of the Department of Projects, which enabled the Municipality and Planning Department to witness a new success and be the first in Ajman to receive the well-deserved ISO 21500:2012 Guidance on Project Management Certificate.


In the same framework, His Highness was briefed by Engineer Huriah Al Balushi, Acting Director of Department of Projects, on a dedicated roadmap developed for the coming years, while pointing out that its success emanates from all the efforts exerted by different departments, as well as mutual cooperation and enhanced coordination, which contributed to facing all set challenges, as well as creating improvement opportunities and realistic solutions thereto.


At the end of the meeting, he advised to hold periodic meetings with the Department’s project managers to identify potential challenges and find improvement opportunities, while valuing their efforts and thus, enabling them to achieve the best, desired results.
