Department of Municipality organizes Brainstorming Session to improve and develop the official Application

A brainstorming session was organized by the Department of Municipality & Planning in Ajman to improve and develop the Department’s official application. The Department met its customers using the new distance communication technologies, stressing that the public is the fundamental pillar of the desired change and improvement.


Eng. Hind Al Shamsi, Director of Smart Services Development at the Department stressed that the Department believes that any success starts from making its customers happy and actively tries to satisfy and meet all their needs. This is why it intensifies its efforts using the qualified in-house staff who work on launching and constantly developing smart application, in order that customers avail of all services easily and quickly.


For her part, Samira Al Rand, Head of Customer Experience Improvement Division stressed that in the exceptional circumstances facing us due to Covid-19, DED considered to organize the brainstorming session to know customers’ opinions and adopt their insights and constructive suggestions which will help develop the smart Department’s application. Customers are the goal and target.


The brainstorming session included a virtual tour in MPDA, which includes fine payment service, the payment service of all Department’s systems, building permit renewal, residential contract renewal in addition to short and long-term parking reservation services and other services.


The session aimed to share the customers’ opinions on the application, in terms of friendly-use, the customer journey through the services developed through him and features and improvements they like to see in the application and services they want to add in addition to the challenges facing them when using the application.


The participants in the session reached a set of opinions and suggestions, and the Department will choose the best and implement it in the coming period.
