Ajman Municipality Draws the Curtains on Its Nawafeth Smart Service Exhibition

Ajman Municipality and Planning Department ended its Nawafeth 5 exhibition held at City Centre Ajman. The event welcomed 1,000 visitors, at the rate of 100 per day from all nationalities living in and visiting the Emirate. The visitors were registered in the unified electronic system which they got to know during the Department’s services promotion exhibition, after they learned about the latest developments in its smart and electronic services revealed through its Nawafeth platform presentations.

 

The exhibition also hosted a number of Directors affiliated to the Department’s service sectors who introduced the audience to new services and offered detailed explanation of smart applications which were updated this year.

 

Eng. Nora Rashed Shattaf, Chief Executive Officer of Customer Happiness Center Sector at the Department praised the exhibition team who exerted great efforts to introduce and promote the Department’s electronic services, explain their mechanism and how to use them, and attract new customers. She added that Nawafeth 5 reflected the positive image of Ajman Municipality and that the Department was keen on continuing to organize this exhibition which achieved its desired results. It also told its services success story through its events and achievements and informed the platform visitors of the latest updates of its smart services through presentations on Nawafeth explaining how to use the applications. She also praised the positive outcomes of the exhibition in terms of feedback and satisfaction rates gauged through a survey on the platform.

 

Mr. Rashid Ahmed Bani Hashim, Director of Corporate Communication & Marketing at the Department and Head of the Exhibition Organization Committee, said that the platform has achieved great success given the importance of smart apps today, and so did the planning done for the exhibition to promote it and to achieve its higher objectives. The number of people registered through the system totaled 769 customers, including 560 visitors registered through the Municipality’s smart applications, in addition to 319 visitors registered through the Digital Identity app. The Department’s Food and Environment Laboratory fourth “Did You Know?” awareness campaign, launched on the sidelines of the event, also appealed to visitors from all age groups. The campaign aimed at raising awareness on food safety and public health by providing consultation and advice to the public and distributing educational material.
