100,000+ Individuals in the Self-Count Platform of Administrative Census 2020 Project ​

H.H. Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Chairman of the Municipality & Planning Department – Ajman, honored the Chairman of the Higher Committee of Administrative Census – Ajman and the Center’s outstanding employees for their contribution to the Emirate’s superiority by its completion of all surveys before the deadline and for working as a single team for the preservation of the Center’s achievements and progressing forward for the further promotion of the Emirate.

 

His Highness confirmed that the qualified staffs have succeeded in the accomplishment of the Center’s objectives and the completion of its tasks in full so that the Emirate would become a pioneer in the field of surveys, which include the security life quality questionnaire, the foreign investment survey, the R&D survey for public and private sectors, the economic entities survey, as well as the workforce survey.

 

His Highness conveyed his pride for the registration of more than 100,000 individuals in the self-count platform of the Administrative Census 2020 Project, stating that work is going on to cover 30% of the population of the Emirate of Ajman by the end of the year.

 

 

 

His Highness stated that the Center has succeeded in the accomplishment of many achievements despite the exceptional circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic, stating that the ambitious staffs are now collecting data and information about families and individuals, a thing which will contribute to the improvement of the quality of life, community welfare, and the standard of the governmental services being provided within the Emirate.

 

His Highness said that the administrative census project, the self-count platform, and statistical projects are receiving ongoing support by H.H. Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Federal Supreme Council (FSC) and the Ruler of the Emirate, with ongoing follow-up from H.H. Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, the Chairman of the Executive Council and the Crown Prince, stating that such projects are among the most important means for the facilitation of urban development and social and economic planning, and that they also assist in society development by setting forth strategic plans for all service and vital sectors and in the achievement of welfare and ideal life for the citizens and residents of the Emirate.

From her side, Dr. Hajer Al Hebaishi, the Executive Director of Ajman Statistics & Competitiveness Center (SCC-Ajman), stated that the Center has worked hard for the completion of the administrative census project, which is one of the most significant statistical projects, stating that intensive efforts were put for the collection of statistical data from the administrative records available at local and federal governmental entities for the generation of statistical indicators and data on an instantaneous basis and for the preparation of a comprehensive and detailed database of the population, houses, buildings and facilities.

 

She continued by saying that everybody is aiming to make it easier for every individual in the Emirate to register in the census, as the self-count platform of the Emirate’s population has enabled families to register automatically. Furthermore, the Center has created a contact platform for the registration of families by calling the Center, in addition to the field survey by some researchers of some of the Emirate’s densely populated areas, as well as labor gatherings.

 

Al Hebaishi said that the Center has accomplished many achievements with a big support from H.H. Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, who spared no effort for the provision of ongoing enhancement, stating that the everybody is aiming for the best and to attain leadership in all fields.
