The Municipality and Planning Department – Ajman (MPDA) has announced a significant increase in the value of leasehold contracts during the first quarter of 2026 compared to the same period in 2024, around AED 240 million, representing a 20% rise, bringing the total value of leasehold contracts to AED 1.442 billion, comprising 36,432 contracts. This confirms Ajman’s position as an inspiring investment environment and aligns with the MPDA’s strategic objective of developing attractive investment policies. The MPDA noted that the value of lease contracts continued its growth during the first quarter of 2026, compared to the same period in 2024, reaching AED 1.203 billion and registering 34,957 contracts. The value then rose to approximately AED 1.355 billion in the first quarter of 2025 through 39,009 contracts.<\/p>\n

These were distributed as follows: 25,957 residential contracts, 10,415 commercial contracts, and 60 investment contracts.
