The Municipality & Planning Department \u2013 Ajman organized the first Suppliers Forum 2025 under the slogan \u201cTogether, for Sustainable Supply Chains\u201d, with the presence of its partners of suppliers in various sectors, in the course of its active efforts for the enhancement of partnership and cooperation, and the appreciation of the exerted efforts to support the journey of sustainable development of the Emirate, aligning with the trends of Ajman Vision 2030 for the creation of a competitive business environment and an investment climate that accelerates economic growth.<\/p>\n

The forum witnessed the presence of Dr. Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al-Muhairi, the Executive Director of the Department\u2019s Infrastructure Development Sector, Dr. Hamdan Al Ali, the Deputy Executive Director of the Department\u2019s Supporting Services Sector, and department directors, suppliers, and the male and female employees of the Department.<\/p>\n

An Integral Part of the System of Development<\/u><\/p>\n
Dr. Hamdan Al Ali welcomed the attendants in the first meeting of its type, which takes place in the course of the Department\u2019s emphasis of the importance of partnership and integration with suppliers, as an integral part of the system of operation and an essential pillar in the journey of success, while he emphasized that: \u201cThe Department appreciates the exerted efforts that have contributed to the success of projects, the attainment of the strategic objectives of the Department, and the service of Ajman society.\u201d<\/p>\n

Dr. Al Ali stated: \u201cSuppliers have registered several successes in the fields of ongoing cooperation and continuous commitment to the improvement of performance, the acceleration of completion, and the elevation of the quality of projects and services. The forum aims to bolster bridges of direct communication, hear opinions and suggestions, and build more flexible and transparent relationships, in what serves the public interest and improves the standard of enterprise integration.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the forum, Mrs. Fatma Mohammed Al-Mulla, the Director of the Strategy & Enterprise Excellence Department, gave a comprehensive presentation on the Department\u2019s Strategy 2030 and its future vision that is based on excellence, quality, and enterprise excellence, while she stated: \u201cAll authorities, organizations and companies operating in Ajman are operating under the auspices of a pioneering Emirate that believes in the importance of integration and the collaboration of efforts and tasks to enhance the Emirate\u2019s attractiveness and quality of life, deliver the best services to the society, and accelerate sustainable development in all fields.\u201d<\/p>\n

The forum included a presentation of the future projects of the Department in the various sectors, and the updates on the policies and procedures of the Contracts & Procurement Department, and the ongoing efforts to bolster partnership with suppliers for the attainment of the objectives of sustainable development and the enhancement of the competency of the supply chain.<\/p>\n
