899 Homes for Emiratis

Eng. Jamila Al Fendi, Director General of Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme, and a number of officials of the Programme were received by His Excellency Abdulrahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of Ajman’s Municipality & Planning Department to discuss the latest developments in Al Montezi Project situated in Mohammed bin Zayed City in Emirate of Ajman, which concerns the building of 899 homes for Emiratis.

 

The meeting was attended by Eng. Mohammed Ahmed bin Omair Al Muhairi, Executive Director of the Infrastructure Development Sector at the Department and Eng. Khalifa Abdullah Al Falasi, Director of the Buildings Department as well as a number of officials of the project. Both parties explored the ways and means of developing their coordination to complete the first phase of the project which reached an achievement rate of 95%.

 

The parties also discussed the means of strengthening coordination during the current phase related to the completion of 497 homes, explaining the method of handover, issuance of completion certificates and the benefitting from the services at the earliest.

 

His Excellency the Department’s Director General affirmed that the completion of the vital projects having a bearing on Emiratis are our priority. Guided by HH Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, we seek to strengthen the means of constructive cooperation with all organizations and entities to promote Emirate’s progress and offer exemplary services for all.

For her part, Her Excellency the Director General of Sheikh Zayed Housing Programme appreciated the Department’s endeavors and continuous collaboration and valued the efforts of the cadre who kept working during the first phase.

 

“Efforts were intensified during the last period by all service entities in the Emirate, including the Municipality Department, Federal Water & Electricity Authority, Du, Ajman Sewerage Company and Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure. We still look forward to completing the whole project which is expected to be completed by the third quarter of 2021” Al Fendi added.
