The Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman launches five electronic services to facilitate procedures for the clients

The Public Health and Environment Sector of the Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman launched five main electronic services and seven sub-services as a first phase to facilitate procedures for the clients, enhance their experiences and develop the services provide to them to raise their happiness and satisfaction levels. These services fall within the context of the Department’s efforts to launch distinctive services that facilitate procedures for all segments and classes of the society.

Eng. Khalid Moein Al Hosni, Executive Director if the Public Health and Environment Sector stressed that the services were launched under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Humaid bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department and the follow up of His Excellency Abdulrahman Mohamed Al Nuaimi out of their keenness on advancing the progress of the path of  electronic transformation through providing all services to the client anywhere at any time, n consonance with the Department’s adoption of the governmental accelerants methodology, which depend on accomplishing ambitious objectives in short period and accelerating the completion of tasks in a timely manner that exceeds expectations, in addition to accelerating the completion of projects by reducing the length of time required.

Al Hosni said that the Department launched five main electronic service and seven sub-services related to Environment Management and development within the first phase of developing the public health services, explaining that the services include the services of releasing chemical substances, adoption of chemical substances exporting, processing of medical waste and requesting bags and containers for medical waste, in addition to the adoption of a vehicle including all vehicle that are subject to environmental control.

 Al Hosni added that the development of services helped to reduce the phases of services completion from 8 steps to 3 steps to approve the service including applying, payment, reviewing and approval as the approval procedure was reduced into one step within a number of approvals, which contributed in reducing the time of transactions completion to less than 30 minutes for transactions that do not require approvals of additions or inspections.

Al Hosni continued that regarding the transactions of to whom it may certificates and processing medical waste, the length of time required for their completion does not exceed 10 minutes, explaining that the seal and electronic seal were added to the certificates, which helped facilitating procedures for the client as it enabled them to complete the transaction from the office or anywhere else without out having to visit service centers.

Al Hosni said that the work is being carried out to provide the service of delivering medical bags and containers during a period of 12 hours from the time of submitting the request, stressing that they took into consideration the necessity to facilitate the application process by reducing  inputs and collecting attachments in one location as well as removing the step of adding geographic location as the service was connected to the geographic map system to locate the location, confirming that all these developments will be applied to the rest of the Department’s service by the end of the development project that is set to be completed by the end of the current year.
