M&P Dept welcomes Sudanese delegation

The Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman welcomes a Sudanese delegation to brief them on its constructive experience and expertise in the strategic planning field 

The Municipality and Planning Department in Ajman, in coordination with the Consulate General of the Republic of Sudan in Dubai and northern emirates at the Fairmont Ajman Hotel, welcomes a Sudanese delegation from the Ministry of Human Resource in Sudan, which included 25 trainees in a visit to the UAE to be closely briefed on the strategic planning field using the balanced scorecard and measuring impact. In application of the Department’s strategy, which seeks to brief the local and international bodies on its expertise and successful experiences as well as enhancing the relations of mutual work and expanding the horizons of continuous collaboration. 

Ahmed Khalid Al Hosni, Executive Director of the Supporting Services Sector of the Department and Eng. Nourah Rashid Shataf, Executive Director of the Customer Support Sector of the Agency, welcomed the trainee Sudanese delegation, who was accompanied by a group of trained staff of the Department. During welcoming the delegation, they stressed that the Department is keen on exchange constructive visits, which seek to attract outstanding ideas as part of its continuous efforts to transfer its unique expertise in the strategic planning field and making it a role model for establishments and departments inside and outside the UAE, under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Department, and a follow up by His Excellency Abdul Rahman Mohammed Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Department.

Khalid Ahmed Al Hosni, at the beginning of the training workshop, stressed that the strategy of the Department is based on enabling the employee and giving them the feeling of inner satisfaction, developing their potentials and positive energy in order to apply the senior directives and generalizations with conviction and without considering them as barriers and restrictions of creativity, but to consider them as a path for innovation and creativity, while being aware of the value of commitment. Urging the visiting delegation to benefit from the Department’s expertise and to apply them according to the available capabilities and resources in addition to attract whatever necessary for development. 

For her part, Eng. Nourah Rashid Shataf praised the keenness of the Sudanese delegation on benefitting from the Department’s knowledge in the strategic planning field, as she explained that respecting and valuing a strategic plan is the key to the success of any establishment aiming for entrepreneurship and prosperity. Pointing out that human resources are the actual capital, which requires best investment and development of their skills, creativity and giving them the feeling of inner satisfaction, in addition the feeling of belonging, which motivates them to continuously give and make efforts to develop the establishment, in which they work and the country they live in.
The training workshop, which was organized by the Department, shed the light on the balanced scorecards, structure of the components of the strategic map and stages of management methodology, which include developing, translating, adapting, supervising and evaluating the strategy. The workshop also addressed the identification card of the organizational unit’s indicators, which explains the relation between the indicator’s connection with objectives and concerned employees, which assures the process of defining long-term objectives. 

For their part, the delegation of the Ministry of Human Resource in Sudan praised the achievements of the Department and its outstanding efforts in all fields as well as its record full of creativity and innovation, in addition to the warm welcome for international establishments, departments and bodies from all over the world to provide them with important experiences and expertise. Stressing the importance of benefitting from the Department’s experience in the strategic planning field as possible, in addition to the continuous constructive mutual visits.
