Hessa Buhumaid: Ministry of Community Development Keen to Study Family’s Needs

Ministry of Community Development, May 2019:-

Coinciding with Zayed Humanitarian Day on 19th Ramadan each year, His Highness Sheikh Rashid Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Municipality & Planning Department in Ajman launched the initiative “From Us to You” in cooperation with the Ministry of Community Development, Municipality & Planning Department in Ajman, Human Appeal International and Humaid Bin Rashid Foundation. The initiative aims for providing home appliances and electronics for (67) needy families in Ajman and beneficiaries of the ministry’s social security.


The launch was attended by Sheikh Mohammed Bin Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Chairman of Human Appeal International, Sheikha Azza Bint Abdullah Al Nuaimi, Director General of Humaid Bin Rashid Foundation, Her Excellency Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development and Abdul Rahman Al Nuaimi, Director General of Municipality and Planning Department.


His Highness expressed his admiration of the idea to satisfy the financial and social needs of families reassuring the importance of stressing the needs of UAE nationals and fulfilling their requirements following the directives of UAE wise leadership to unlimitedly support families and provide them with the best ways of living.



His Highness emphasized that all the entities in the UAE continuously make great efforts to assist the members of the community who are in need of a helping hand.


His Highness also assured that we are very keen to support all diversified initiatives to achieve the required goals and elevate the standards of living for needy families, noting that, the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan-may his soul rest in peace-established the meanings of societal responsibility and giving among our souls to be the happiest nation of the world.


Furthermore, Her Excellency Hessa Bint Essa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development, emphasized that the ministry follows the directives of the UAE wise leadership to continuously examine the needs of different families and various community members and at the same time, study the needs of needy families as quickly as possible to achieve family cohesion and stability.


Her Excellency noted the importance of humanitarian initiatives to provide more happiness and assistances to needy families especially during the holy month of Ramadan. The partnership between Ajman Government and the Ministry of Community Development is highly supported by His Highness Sheikh Humaid Bin Rashid Al Nuaimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ajman as well as Sheikh Ammar Bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Ajman Crown Prince to enhance sustainable development efforts.


Her Excellency stated that there is continuous cooperation between the Ministry of Community Development and Ajman entities to give care to the beneficiaries of the ministry’s services, noting that, the initiatives “We will drop you” targeting senior emiratis and “Equipping Deaf Houses” in Ajman and the initiative “employment and training of people of determination” are exquisite and special.


The initiative “From Us to You” in Ajman comes as part of the social activities during the holy month of Ramadan to calculate the needs and requirements of needy families and enhance the efforts of the Ministry to support all competent authorities in Ajman. The initiative aims at providing these families with all basic requirements such as home appliances and electronics to achieve happiness and at the same time support family stability, bring joy to the souls of needy families during the holy month of Ramadan and before Eid Al Fitr.


The initiative also enhances societal partnership to support development efforts, highlight societal responsibilities towards members of the community and entities in order to reflect societal cohesion and coherence.
