Such initiatives include the Digital Platform Initiative launched by the Abu Dhabi Housing Authority, which offers a single platform that allows citizens to apply for housing under one umbrella.

Al Muhairi said that the department will spare no effort to achieve optimal cooperation with the authority in order to improve the quality of the services provided to the clients. Al Muhairi also added that the Municipality and Planning Department’s main goal is to ensure the convenience and welfare of each client by launching initiatives that facilitate all their transactions. This includes services such as the residential land grant service, which enables citizens to apply for a land through an easy website. This website allows citizens to complete their application within a few minute without the hassle of visiting  several departments to complete the required service.

The authority also plans on using blockchain technology in the management of construction projects. He noted that the authority’s initiative includes various aspects such as the classification of contractors’ offices so that citizens could have the opportunity to identify office classifications and make the optimal choice.
