receives 42 student trainees in the summer training program

Under the guidance of Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al-Nuaimi, Head of the Municipality and Planning Dept.-Ajman and the follow-up of Abdulrahman Al-Nuaimi, the Director General of the Department, the Human Resources Administration under the Supporting Services Sector of the Municipality and Planning Dept.-Ajman received, at the beginning of the current week, 42 students who are affiliated with Ajyal Summer Training Program. Those students were enrolled in the program from different national universities and high schools in the emirate after they had been accepted in Ajyal Program according to the criteria approved by the Training and Career Development Division of the Department. The purpose is to qualify them for different future jobs, in coordination with all sectors of the Department, and endow them with professional skills in the different careers and jobs available at the Department.

Ajyal Training Program was opened by welcoming the trainees and distributing them over different administrative units according to their tendencies, then providing them with professional guidance to motivate them into capturing any opportunities that would enhance their talents and skills, and undergoing practical experiences which professionally guide them in choosing their future career through the Department.

To that, Khaled El Hosny, the Executive Director of the Supporting Services Sector of the Department emphasized Ajyal Program kicks off every year concurrently with the summer season and the summer vacation in schools and universities. This comes under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Rashid bin Humaid Al-Nuaimi and the follow-up of Abdulrahman Al-Nuaimi, the Director General of the Department, stemming from their eagerness to guide future generations professionally, qualify and train national youth, and endow them with different experience as well as enhance their talents, thus serve the national interest through field training at the Department.

El Hosny clarified trainees were distributed over the administrations and sectors of the department as necessary and according to their professional tendencies. They will be supervised by specialized supervisors to evaluate them during the entire period of the training program which will last for one month. He explained the program supports the strategic vision, mission, and goals of the Department in order to consolidate the national identity by enhancing the talents and experiences of trainees as well as develop the capabilities of national youth in the emirate and utilize their potential.

Ahmed Al Ali, the director of Human Resources at the Department, also clarified the Training Division of the Department organized, for the trainees, the training plan applied at the Department, their assigned tasks, and the career path they will follow, inviting them to benefit from available opportunities and acquire the experience from the Department's employees. He also invited them to present their creative ideas and development suggestions to serve the interest of the Department, pointing out the true reward they will get is the experiences and talents they will come out with from the one-month training program at all sectors of the Department.

The opening of Ajyal Training Program featured a briefing for the trainees during which Naima Al-Shaer, Head of the Training and Career Development Division, presented the goals of the summer program and offered them some guidelines and advice, considering them the leaders of tomorrow and builders of the future who should strive vigorously to gain practical experiences and enhance their personal skills and capabilities by following the employee responsible for them and committing to the training schedule. By doing this, they will prove their competency and show their willingness to acquire the experience by trying field work at the Department and its different sectors.
